Library Membership

Library Membership Registration for MFU Students, Faculty, and Staff

Students, lecturers, and staff.

Mae Fah Luang University students, lecturers, and staff are automatically granted membership. However, an account update in the system is required. Click here

Mae Fah Luang University students, lecturers, and staff whose information is not yet in the system must register online (Click here ) (How to register Library membership). Once completed, please present your Student ID or Staff ID card at the Circulation Desk, 3rd Floor.

Faculty / Guest lecturers / Teaching assistants (TA) / Contract Lecturer are required to provide the following additional documents:

  • A certifying letter from the dean of the school
  • Free of charge

 

Library Membership Registration for Alumni member

Mae Fah Luang University Alumni are welcome to use the library for reading and research free of charge. However, to borrow library resources, a formal membership registration is required.

The membership fee for MFU Alumni is 750 Baht, with the following details:

  • Member card 50 Baht
  • Membership 200 Baht /Year
  • Damage  Deposit 500 Baht
    (A damage deposit is refunded when the membership is over by requesting at the circulation desk with a receipt of the payment)

Required Documents for Alumni Membership Registration

  1. One certified copy of National ID Card or Government Official ID Card. 
  2. One certified copy of proof of graduation from Mae Fah Luang University (e.g., diploma or transcript).
  3. One certified copy of the first page of your savings bank passbook.

Note: The security deposit is refundable upon termination of membership.
In case of a lost card, or if a replacement or new card is requested, a processing fee of 50 Baht will be charged.


 

Library Membership Registration for External Members

External visitors are welcome to use Mae Fah Luang University Library for reading and research free of charge. However, membership registration is required for borrowing privileges.

The membership fee for External member is 1,550 Baht, with the following details:

  • Member card 50 Baht
  • Membership 500 Baht /Year
  • Damage  Deposit 1,000 Baht
    (A damage deposit is refunded when the membership is over by requesting at the circulation desk with a receipt of the payment)

Required Documents for Alumni Membership Registration

  1. One certified copy of National ID Card or Government Official ID Card. 
  2. One certified copy of the first page of your savings bank passbook.

Membership Renewal

  • Students (All Levels): Membership is valid throughout the duration of study.

  • Lecturer and Staff: Membership is valid throughout the duration of employment.

  • Alumni Members: An annual maintenance fee of 200 Baht is required.

  • External Members: An annual maintenance fee of 500 Baht is required.
